DCM Infotech is currently hiring for IBM DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) L2 for Delhi Cantt. location.
Salary budget :- 10 Lac Per Annum
Experience :- 4+ Years, WFO and 6 days working
Notice :- Immediate to 30 days
Mode of work :- Work from office
Job Description :-
IBM DB2 Database Administrator
* Daily management, maintenance, monitoring, and tuning for DB2 v9.0 and V9.5 databases in UNIX environment (RHEL 5.0 to RHEL 7.2)
* Perform database software installations including database creation, configuration and applying fix packs and migration of databases as per the Patch Applicability Matrix.
* Should be aware about application SQL Query tuning, database parameter tuning,
* Must have an idea of DB online/Offline backup and recover
* Implementing purging policies over the database servers as per the customer data retention periods.
* Must have performed DB2 migration
* Installation and configuration of DB2 Database servers for standalone and DPF environments in Linux and AIX operating systems.
* Performing table space re-balancing for ensuring the equal data distribution across all the data mounts and applying compress methods on tables for storage savings.
* DB2 pureScale Skills.. Backup, restore, and roll forward operations
* Must have worked in Linux / Unix and Windows environment
A) Instance monitoring
B) Database alert management
C) Access management
D) Remote installation and configuration of the Db2 pureScale Feature
E) Addition and removal of hosts from the cluster manager and shared file system
