Job Title: IBM SAN Storage L3 Engineer
Location: Delhi
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description :-

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IBM SAN Storage L3 Support Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level support, managing complex storage issues, and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of enterprise-level IBM SAN environments.

Key Responsibilities :-

Provide L3 (Level 3) technical support for IBM SAN Storage systems including IBM DS8000, Storwize (V7000, V5000), FlashSystem, and Spectrum Virtualize.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software storage issues.
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and storage optimization.
Manage zoning, masking, and LUN provisioning in SAN environments.
Maintain and configure multipathing software (e.g., SDDPCM, MPIO).
Implement firmware upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams, vendors, and other infrastructure teams for escalated issues.
Automate storage provisioning tasks using scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Generate and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Required Skills & Experience :-

5+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration with a focus on IBM SAN solutions.
In-depth knowledge of IBM SAN products such as:
IBM DS8000 series
IBM Storwize V7000/V5000
IBM FlashSystem family
IBM Spectrum Virtualize
Strong experience with Brocade and Cisco SAN switches (zoning, troubleshooting).
Proficiency in SAN protocols like FC, iSCSI, and FCoE.
Experience with storage replication, snapshots, and backup integration.
Familiarity with VMware, AIX, Linux, and Windows server environments.
Knowledge of monitoring tools like IBM Spectrum Control, IBM Storage Insights, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :-

IBM Certified Specialist – Storage Technical Solutions or equivalent.
ITIL Foundation Certification.
Experience in cloud-integrated storage environments (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
Scripting experience in Python, Ansible, or Shell scripting for automation.

Work Conditions:
24x7 on-call rotation (as required).
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight SLAs.
